Tribute to Poh Loong

Dear friends,

Poh Loong chose to end his life on 28th August 2007. He has left us for a better world. I just returned from his wake... I have so much to say to him.

He was one of my first few friends i made in YJC. I wanna tell him that he's been a great friend. He has never failed me. And i think he was a nice friend to everyone. He cheered people up, he cracked jokes about himself.. just to make ppl laugh and smile.

Sadly, we thought he was weird. A little too enthu, a little too crazy. I cant deny there was some opinion about him. against him. God i feel so guily. Why do we judge others and make silly mistakes like this? only to realise what we've done wrong by the time it's too late to make amendments.

I'm so sorry. Sorry i did not speak to you when i saw u online a few nights ago. I'm sorry i nv really caught up with you after you left YJC. I'm sorry.

We're often too caught up with our own lives that we neglect our more distant friends. Need to reflect on that. I'm a culprit too. Siva called a couple of times to let me know the situation there. How long has it been since i caught up with Siva? I saw Fiona, Shih Shun, Cindy Moy, Soon Long at the funeral. We only meet on such sad occasion. It's sad.

I need to learn to show my friends how much i care about them. hmm.
